IWA: The International Women's Association of Bucharest - Charity Apply for a Charity Grant IWA supports charitable organizations in the greater Bucharest area by providing grants for short-term projects improving the the lives of disadvantaged people. The IWA Charity Committee evaluates the grant applications, nominates recipients following st rict criteria and audits the implementation.
Areas of impact (children, elderly, social projects, people with disabilities, domestic abuse victims, homeless, and other disadvantaged people ). Special focus to one big initiative is selected annually. We are volunteers and always looking for helping hands.

We meet monthly from September through June, usually on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, to review grant requests and funded programs.
