Grants | Jefferson Community Foundation Grants & Fundraising Strategy J efferson Community Foundation facilitates over $2 million a year in grants to nonprofit organizations dedicated to a broad range of community issues. The vast majority of these grants are directed by donors who hold Charitable Funds at JCF and are seeking ways to make local impact. Our role is to inform, inspire and administer these donations.

JCF seeks opportunities to compound positive impacts by helping these donors connect with each other and with projects, programs and nonprofit leaders in order to achieve more together. JCF maintains a high value subscription to the national Candid foundation information database in order to provide free access for all local nonprofits.

With details on more than 304,000 funders, Candid’s search tools allows your nonprofit to: find grant opportunities for your cause, locate funders who have supported your peers, search for grants in your community and beyond, calculate your ask based on grant data, and get contact details on key decision makers. If needed, we have skilled Candid volunteers to help you learn the program and get search support.
