Dr. Jerry Northern has graciously donated to the Foundation to award three students with $10,000 each in scholarship funds and $500 each for travel expenses to AAA 2026+HearTECH Expo in San Antonio, Texas. Applicants must be in at least their second academic year in the graduate program and have completed at least one course in pediatric audiology, and cannot graduate in Spring/Summer 2026.
Personal Statement Prompt Describe qualities you believe are characteristic of an outstanding pediatric audiologist and discuss your personal goals for becoming a future clinician. In addition, without violating patient confidentiality, describe a specific situation in pediatrics that you feel inspired or solidified your passion for this specialty.
(750 words maximum) Academy members receive many benefits for professional development, practice management, and community development. Wednesday, April 22, 4:00–5:30 pm Whether you’re an undergraduate or graduate student, the SAA Mix and Mingle is the place to be on the opening night of AAA Annual Convention 2026. The SAA invites you to enjoy a snack and a beverage while meeting other audiology students.
