Jewish Community Grant Cycle is sponsored by Menorah Heritage Foundation. The Menorah Heritage Foundation offers the Jewish Community Grant Cycle to support organizations that serve the Greater Kansas City area, with focus areas including health-related programs and initiatives to foster a vibrant Jewish community.

JEWISH COMMUNITY CYCLE - Menorah Heritage Foundation Please make sure you have read our grant information page to ensure you are eligible to apply and a good fit for funding. Our Jewish Community Support Cycle reflects the history of Menorah Heritage Foundation and its predecessor organizations’ commitment to the health and healthy continuity of the Jewish community in the Kansas City metro area.

As a result, most of our grants support health and human services needs in the Jewish community. In addition, when resources are available, we support organizations and programs which ensure the continuity and healthy growth of the local Jewish community. This cycle reflects more of an allocative process rather than a competitive process, with applications by invitation only.

Organizations not funded in the prior year’s Jewish Community Support Cycle who are interested in applying should contact our Program Officer, Kim Lewis , to schedule a conversation. Organizations can apply for one or more Program Grants or one Core operating support grants, but may not apply for both except in very specific cases.

Program Grants: In order to determine the appropriate grant request amount, our Program Officer will contact you to schedule a zoom meeting and discuss your grant. Core Operating Support Grants: $10,000 maximum grant request.

The following organizations are not eligible to apply for Core Operating Support Grants : colleges and universities, hospitals, K-12 schools, arts organizations, local chapters of regional or national organizations, organizations that require or advocate religious activity as part of or in exchange for services, and organizations with annual budgets in excess of approximately $5 million dollars.

The deadline for submission is March 15 at 11:59 p. m. Menorah Heritage Foundation does not accept late applications.
