JWF Chicago offers three grant opportunities: Annual Grants : One-year funding open to all applicants who meet JWF Chicago’s overall eligibility requirements and are committed to improving the lives of women and girls. These are the majority of JWF Chicago grants awarded each year.
Multiyear Grants : Three-year consecutive funding open to current JWF Chicago grantees and/or organizations previously funded by JWF Chicago in any of the past three grant cycles (since 2023).
Innovation Grants : One-year funding open to start-up organizations in operation for three years or less or existing organizations instituting a pilot project not yet in operation using innovative initiatives to improve the lives of women and girls. Eligibility information can be found here . Letters of Intent must be submitted via the online application system by 12:00 PM Central Time on Monday, May 5, 2026.
Proposals, including all supplemental materials, must be submitted via the online application system by 12:00 PM Central Time on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. Note that proposals are by invitation only. org To complete your LOI or proposal , click on the green "Start" button for your existing application. Then, click on each of the items listed under "Your tasks". You must complete all items in the task list before you can submit your proposal.
