Johnson County Utility Assistance Program is sponsored by Johnson County Department of Aging and Human Services. This program provides financial assistance to qualifying low-income households in Johnson County, Kansas, for electric, water, gas, or wastewater utility bills. Assistance can be for past-due bills or payment plans.

What documents do I need for my appointment? Before your appointment, please gather the following documents. All documents must be provided before we are able to provide you with services.

Appointments will be rescheduled if you are unable to produce the needed documentation. Proof of residency (dated within the last 30 days) Provide one of the following: Must be in the applicant's name seeking assistance. Must be dated within the last 12 months Must be in the applicant's name seeking assistance Must contain a street address on the bill.
