K-12 XR Grant Program is sponsored by EON Reality Inc. and EON Learn for Life. This grant program provides K-12 schools with support to fund the launch of new virtual reality and augmented reality (XR) programs in the post-pandemic world.

The Grant may be awarded at the School District Level or to an Individual School. EON Reality’s core belief has always been that knowledge is a human right and should be accessible for everyone – this is why we are providing schools with the opportunity to create new avenues to immerse and engage students during the teaching and learning process.

Our goal is to empower students and faculty to utilize world-class virtual reality and augmented reality solutions in order to enhance learner outcomes. Based on decades of experience working with governments and intergovernmental agencies, EON Reality, Inc. helps to identify and locate grants to cover a significant amount of the cost of a new XR Program for qualifying partners.

The EON Reality Inc Grant Program is intended to provide K-12 schools support for the following purposes: Localized Content creation Only invited candidates are eligible for the K-12 XR Grant Program. This program has been developed for K-12 schools that are seeking XR based EdTech solutions at scale and lack funding to launch organization wide rollouts of XR programs.

If the Application is approved, EON Learn for Life issues a Certificate of Approval and EON Reality, Inc. and the Applicant sign an Offer Letter to set up the program. Ranges Between Approximately $1M to $16M USD based on the merits of the application and scope of deployment.

The in-kind grant consists of the EON-XR Platform, Merged XR and Spatial Meetings XR solutions for students and faculty – including hardware and services for a 3-year period. Full details are described in the EON-XR Grant Program Equipment List. EON Reality Inc. co-invests 78% of the grant amount and EON Learn for Life (non-profit) donates the remaining 22%.

As a result, 100% of the grant is funded. In order to secure the donation from EON Learn for Life (non-profit), a Grant Program Fee is required. Upon delivery of the EON-XR Platform, the Grant Recipient pays a Grant Program Fee of: District Wide Deployment – 2.

5% of the Awarded Amount. Individual School Deployment – 5% of the Awarded Amount. Only applications received by March 31, 2026 will be considered.

However, please also note that EON Reality Inc. and the EON Learn for Life organizations have budgeted enough funds for an estimated ten K-12 schools to receive the grant. As a result, grant donations are on a first come/first serve basis – once the grant funds have been allocated, the program will terminate.

The seven-step grant procedure is as follows: Introduction Meeting – Introduction of the EON-XR Center K-12 XR Grant Program (KXRGP). Application Submission – Submission of Online Application, please note that there are no financial obligations, binding commitments, or any liabilities with submitting the application.

Committee Determination – All applications are reviewed by the KXRGP Committee and subject to determination within 14 days after receipt. Certificate of Approval – If the application is approved, a Certificate is issued for the award amount based on the merits of the Application. Offer Letter – After being approved, the Applicant receives the Offer Letter. The Applicant has up to 60 days to approve or decline the Offer Letter and Grant Program. Delivery and Implementation Plan – EON delivers the EON-XR Program along with the pedagogical and technical XR experts and starts the implementation of the Academic EON-XR Program.

Please Note: The Certificate of Approval is valid for 60 days. If the Offer Letter is not signed by both parties within 60 days, the Certificate of Approval expires, and the grant is repatriated to the Learn for Life Foundation for the next Applicant. The K-12 XR Grant Program Committee, consisting of EON’s Advisory members, will determine the overall quality of each Grant application.

Applications will be evaluated in accordance with the criteria outlined below. Additional consideration will be given to the Applicant’s potential for carrying out the project, the time commitment, and the adequacy of the justifications presented. All applications will be forwarded to the K-12 XR Grant Program Committee for final approval and be reviewed within 14 days after receipt.

If recommended for approval, it will be assigned a score by the Committee which will determine the amount to be received based on the merits of the application. There are no financial obligations, binding commitments, or any liabilities with submitting the application. If your institution is approved, you will receive a certificate which is valid for 60 days.

During this time, you can approve or decline the offer letter and grant. After receiving your application, EON Reality will take time to go through the agreement with you. Proposals are evaluated and scored against selection and award criteria – post-pandemic recovery impact, quality and quantity of the XR Deployment at scale, student development & focus on creation of job opportunities for youth and build entrepreneurship opportunities in digital economy and Localized Content creation.

The K-12 XR Grant Program Committee will score each award criterion on a scale from 0 to 5 (half point scores may be given): 0 – Proposal fails to address the criterion. 1 – Poor. The criterion is inadequately addressed or there are serious inherent weaknesses.

2 – Fair. The proposal broadly addresses the criterion, but there are significant weaknesses. 3 – Good.

The proposal addresses the criterion well, but a number of shortcomings are present. 4 – Very good. The proposal addresses the criterion very well, but a small number of shortcomings are present.

5 – Excellent. The proposal successfully addresses all relevant aspects of the criterion. Any shortcomings are minor.
