Grants | Community Foundation for Dickinson County Foundation Community Grants Grant Applications To Open in September The Community Foundation of Dickinson County is updating its competitive grant process to better serve local nonprofits and address community needs. Because of these changes, the 2026 grant applications will open in September.
Updated grant opportunities, eligibility requirements, application guidelines, and deadlines will be available when the application period opens. We appreciate your patience as we work to create a clearer and more effective grant process for our nonprofit partners. The 2025 application period is now closed.
The Dickinson County Youth in Action Grant program is a competitive application for area middle and high school students to support youth-led projects that make a positive difference in schools and communities. Grant Recipients will be required to complete the Final Grant Report video online via the grant application website. The 2026 Youth in Action application period is now open.

NCI Continuing Umbrella of Research Experiences (CURE) Academic Career Excellence (ACE) Award (K32) is a grant from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) that funds early postdoctoral fellows from diverse backgrounds, including underrepresented groups, to pursue research training in cancer-related fields. The K32 award supports fellows within 12 months prior to transitioning into, or within the first two years of, a postdoctoral position. The program, operated through NCI's Center to Reduce Cancer Health Disparities (CRCHD), aims to enhance the pool of qualified diverse cancer researchers. Beginning with the June 12, 2025 due date, the CURE ACE Award is available in both Independent Clinical Trial Required and Independent Clinical Trial Not Allowed versions. Eligible applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents at time of award.
