Kansas Micro-Internships Project Grants Technical Education Authority Excel in CTE Initiative (SB155) The Kansas Nursing Initiative University Engineering Initiative Kansas Micro-Internships Project Grants Micro-Internships are short-term, paid, professional assignments in business, communications, education, finance, human resources, information technology, marketing, research, and many other areas.
The first five Kansas Micro-Internship projects (up to a maximum of $500 per project) completed for a Kansas organization or entrepreneur by students currently enrolled in any of the 32 Kansas public colleges and universities are available at no cost thanks to funding provided by the Kansas Department of Commerce and the Strada Education Foundation.
Two of the five no cost projects may be completed by students currently enrolled in a graduate program offered by any of the seven Kansas public universities. The no cost KMI projects will be available until the current funding is depleted or renewed.
There is also a wide array of learn and earn opportunities for Kansas organizations and career seekers via the Kansas Office of Registered Apprenticeship , which supports apprenticeships across multiple industries.

The Robotics Grant Program is a grant from the Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE) that funds school-based robotics programs for elementary, middle, and high school students. Awarded through a competitive application process, the program provides up to $3,500 to eligible local education agencies (LEAs) in Alabama. Applicants must be public school systems submitting on behalf of schools with K–12 students. The grant supports the purchase of robotics equipment and program development aligned with AMSTI guidelines. Applications are submitted online through the AMSTI Robotics Grant portal.
