Classroom Teacher Grants - Kappa Delta Pi KDP’s mission is to inspire and equip teachers to thrive. Thanks to the generosity of Dr. Judith F. Evans and Mr. Ralph M.
Evans, donors, chapters, and the KDP Store, we provide financial assistance to support this mission with Classroom Teacher Grants of $200 each to practicing PreK–12 teachers and student teachers. What could you do with $200 for your students? You are encouraged to submit a compelling application for your creative, engaging, and meaningful projects.
The grant funds have been impactful for past recipients who established classroom libraries, purchased much-needed supplies, created makerspaces, incorporated yoga and mindfulness into learning, funded field trips and guest speakers, and utilized new technologies, among other endeavors. Classroom Teacher Grants are available once per year. Applications for the 2026–2027 cycle will open on September 16, 2026.
This program is a benefit for active paid KDP members who are U.S. citizens and either enrolled in a U.S. college or university or currently practicing as a PreK–12 educator in the United States. You must be logged in to your KDP account to access the application, and you may apply for one grant per cycle. Grant money will be awarded directly to the recipient via ACH.
KDP will only issue funds to a U.S. domestic bank account and will not pay to foreign banks. All recipients are asked to submit a survey to share the impact of the grant funds. 2025-2026 Grant Recipients Congratulations to our 2025–2026 recipients!

Membership must be active at the time of application and when funds are awarded . When are Classroom Teacher Grants offered? We offer teacher grants once per year.
The 2025–2026 application cycle is now closed. Applications for 2026–2027 will open in the fall. Who is eligible to apply for Classroom Teacher Grants?
Eligible applicants must be active paid KDP members, U.S. citizens, and teaching or working in a PreK–12 school in the United States. This includes PreK–12 teachers, student teachers enrolled in a U.S. college or university, substitute teachers, school psychologists, and paraprofessionals. College professors are not eligible to apply for Classroom Teacher Grants for their college classrooms.
Can I see the application questions in advance? You may download a copy of the questions here to prepare and save a copy of your answers. It is highly recommended that you prepare all your materials ahead of time so you can successfully submit your online applications without the website timing out or any other technical difficulties.
