Kaleidoscope - Nebraska Health Care Foundation Q2 Scholarship 2026 Nebraska Health Care Foundation Q2 Scholarship 2026 To assist qualified persons who wish to become a basic nursing assistant or medication aide in a nursing facility and/or assisted living community, the Nebraska Health Care Foundation will award four (4) Basic Nursing Assistant Scholarships and three (3) Medication Aide Scholarships per quarter for persons wishing to attend the Nebraska Health Care Learning Center.
All applicants will be notified via email upon closure of the review period, and recipients must use the scholarship within six months of being awarded. **Note: If your reference contact is unable to upload their letter of recommendation to Kaleidoscope, please have them email it directly to [email protected] . Persons eligible to apply for a scholarship must: 1. Be able to attend Nebraska Health Care Learning Center Basic Nursing Assistant Training or Medication Aide Training within six months of receiving the scholarship. 2.
Pledge that, upon successful completion of the course, they practice their skills in a nursing facility or assisted living community for at least one year. Priority will be given to individuals that are currently employed in a NNFA/NALA member facility and to immediate relatives of member employees. Immediate relative is defined as: parent, sibling, spouse, or child.
