Call for RIS Innovation Projects | EIT RawMaterials - Developing raw materials into a major strength for Europe Call for RIS Innovation Projects Calling proposals for RIS Innovation projects to enhance Europe's raw materials value chain through sustainable mining, processing, and recycling. The EIT Regional Innovation Scheme (RIS) is an EU programme that supports countries and regions with lower innovation performance.

It provides funding, expertise, and networks to help organisations: Strengthen local innovation ecosystems Build skills and capacity Launch new products, services, and business models See the list of RIS eligible countries here (external link) Projects developing new technologies, products, services, or business models in the raw materials value chain.

Activities: exploration, sustainable mining, processing, circularity, recycling, substitution Duration of project: 1-2 years Funding: Co-funding required (exact % based on TRL and project type) Access up to 70% project funding Grow your innovation and collaboration network across Europe Deliver real impact in your region Chance for startups, SMEs, large companies to apply Calling on startups, SMEs, large companies as well as universities and research centers, NGOs, government agencies and public institutions.

Secure funding up to 1 million per project Receive between €800k–€1M per project for innovation projects. Receive expert guidance & access to a vast network Projects receive proposal guidance & matchmaking access to Europe’s largest raw materials innovation network. What are the minimum admission criteria?

Minimum 2 organisations from different RIS-eligible countries Must represent at least two sides of the knowledge triangle: education, research, and business Lead partner must be from an RIS eligible country Contact your regional innovation and knowledge center.
