Kirchgessner Foundation Grant is sponsored by Karl Kirchgessner Foundation. Focuses on supporting tax-exempt organizations in Southern California that provide vision care services to economically disadvantaged individuals, particularly the young, elderly, and disabled.

Kirchgessner Vision Foundation - Vision Care Non-Profit Skip to the content Close Menu Kirchgessner Vision Foundation (the “Foundation”) is a private foundation qualified under Internal Revenue Code § 501(c)(3) whose purposes are exclusively charitable. The Foundation supports tax-exempt organizations located in the Greater Los Angeles Region that are actively engaged in the provision of services in the field of vision.

The Greater Los Angeles Region consists of Los Angeles, Orange, and Ventura Counties. Entities that serve the Greater Los Angeles Region but are headquartered elsewhere may also apply for assistance. The emphasis of the Foundation is to support activities in the area of vision care, and to help those with sight problems to be self-sufficient.

The Foundation seeks to assist economically disadvantaged persons, especially children. Grants are made to qualified organizations and institutions that are exempt from federal taxes under IRC Section 501(c)(3). No grants are made to individuals or to fund-raising campaigns.

Particular attention is given to applicants in the Southern California area. Race, color, creed, gender, sexual orientation or religion are not factors in the consideration and awarding of grants. Grants are restricted to organizations whose overhead expenses are deemed to be reasonable by our Foundation.
