LA Fire Emergency Fund — Claire's Place Foundation The LA Fire Emergency Fund is a temporary program designed to address the urgent needs of our CF community during the ongoing fires in Los Angeles. This fund provides support to individuals and families living with cystic fibrosis, helping cover the costs of essentials such as food, temporary lodging, air purifiers, and other critical supplies during this crisis.
Oscar nominee Sebastian Stan , a dedicated supporter of Claire's Place Foundation, made the first generous donation to kick off this lifesaving initiative. Joining him in contributing to the cause is White Lotus star Haley Lu Richardson, Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Open Hearts Foundation and Cystic Fibrosis Research Institute. Their donations highlight the impact of collective action in safeguarding the most vulnerable during this crisis.

We’re thrilled to announce a powerful new partnership with Oransi Air Purifiers as part of our LA Fire Emergency Fund! Oransi has generously stepped up to donate their state-of-the-art air purifiers to support our CF community during this challenging time. With wildfires devastating the air quality in Los Angeles, these purifiers are more than just machines—they’re a breath of fresh air for our CF families.
When applying for assistance through the LA Fire Emergency Fund, clients can now choose between: 🌬️ An Oransi Mod+ Air Purifier to protect their lungs from hazardous smoke and particles. 💵 A Small Cash Grant to cover basic needs, temporary housing, or other critical expenses. Vertex Pharmaceuticals , The Open Hearts Foundation and The Cystic Fibrosis Research Institute Do you qualify for Support? This program provides either a complimentary Oransi Air Purifier or a one-time grant to individuals living with cystic fibrosis or their caregivers to assist with time-sensitive needs during the LA fires and the immediate aftermath.
Grants are distributed to clients via PayPal or Zelle, ensuring funds are available for immediate use. - The patient or dependent must have a confirmed cystic fibrosis diagnosis, verified by a hospital professional. - Applicants must reside in Los Angeles County or surrounding areas affected by the wildfires.
- A hospital professional (e.g., social worker, doctor, or nurse) must submit a referral describing the client’s financial need due to the fires in combination with their diagnosis. Please direct your hospital worker to the link below to submit a referral on your behalf. - Once a referral is received, the client will be sent an application link for the program.
