► Women Artists Grants | Frisco Arts We recognize women as capable and driven entrepreneurs with great potential for success in the competitive marketplace. We celebrate women in business and welcome the positive impact small businesses in the arts have in our community. This grant is funded by generous donors of the Frisco Arts Foundation.
This includes both women looking to fund existing businesses and women pursuing new business ventures. These expenses include materials, labor, equipment, and production costs involved in creating your product or delivering your service.
Anything contributing to the creative practitioner’s own professional development, such as development and training programs, webinars, workshops, and classes in the arts and/or business disciplines. Expenses associated with the process of creating your new business, including research expenses, license/permit fees, technological expenses, equipment/supply costs, marketing costs, and employee expenses.
Approved applicants will receive a grant of $1,000.
For current business owners: Provide proof of business ownership or self employment in the Frisco area by providing a copy of one of the following: Tax Form (Schedule C, 1040, 1099, 1120-S, or 1065 form) For new business ventures: Provide proof of at least one year’s experience as a creative practitioner by submitting an example from your artist portfolio via one of the following mediums: Describe your current or proposed business model.
Explain how your entrepreneurial pursuit might impact the Frisco arts landscape. Provide a budget proposal according to your projected costs and needs. when is the application due?
Applications are available online through September 16th, 2022. Awards will be given during the Frisco Arts Walk and Run opening ceremony on October 1, 2022 at HALL Park.
