Aim High ’s five week free academic and social support summer program serves 140 low-income Tahoe-Truckee middle school students. Gateway Mountain Center for Whole Hearts, Minds and Bodies-a therapeutic youth mentoring program for adolescents suffering from symptoms of mental illness, emotional disturbance and substance abuse.

The Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe towards the purchase of disease tests, vaccinations, medications and microchips for all of the animals received from Truckee Animal Services this year. Kidzone Museum for “Once Upon A Time,” an interactive fairy tale exhibit focused on literacy development of children under six, as well as social, cognitive and motor skill development of all children.
