Grant Application - Lakewood Ranch Community Foundation About the Lakewood Ranch Community Foundation's Grant Process Established in 2000, the Lakewood Ranch Community Foundation (LWRCF) serves the people and interests of the Lakewood Ranch community and allows donor-allocated foundations to stay in our region, supporting a variety of charitable interests.

Until 2021, grants were made by the LWRCF through the Manatee Community Foundation. In 2021, LWRCF received its own 501(c)(3) exemption and is now responsible for all grant awards. The Grants Committee comprised of board of directors and community members along with the executive director of the LWRCF are responsible for seeking out donations, reviewing grant applications and distributing funds.

Please list your measurable outcomes: * Timetable and/or work plan for the project (please include project/program start and ending dates, if applicable): * In an effort to better inform the community about the efforts of the Lakewood Ranch Community Foundation, we are asking what action items your organization will commit to in order to publicize this possible grant to your constituents and the broader community.

A completed application will be accepted at any time and will be awarded on a quarterly basis. If you are awarded a grant in the calendar year, you will have to wait until next year to apply again. Only one grant per calendar year.

Your budget must be specific to the program/project for which you are requesting grant assistance. In addition, please submit your current operations budget. Please be specific on how you will measure and show success in the Lakewood Ranch area and the surrounding areas that encompass Eastern Manatee and Sarasota counties with grant funds you receive from Lakewood Ranch Community Foundation.
