The Landmarks of American History and Culture and Summer Institutes for K-12 Educators program supports humanities education through professional development for K-12 teachers. Landmarks and Institutes are residential professional development programs that convene educators from across the nation to deepen their understanding of significant topics in the humanities and enrich their capacity for effective scholarship and teaching.

Landmarks of American History and Culture workshops may be one, two, or three weeks in length and should only be offered once in the chosen summer.
