Latine QPR Trainings - Lines For Life English Español (Spanish) Become a QPR Instructor and Support Your Community We are seeking Latine individuals in Oregon who want to facilitate community trainings to help raise awareness and prevent suicide – including those who will offer community training in Spanish.
Becoming a QPR Suicide Prevention Instructor will help you empower yourself and others to prevent suicide and support the mental health of your community. Training Opportunities – Fall 2024 Join us at a Latine Community Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) Training for Trainers!
Virtual Training – Tuesday, October 22: 8:45 AM – 4:30 PM Pacific In-Person Training in Salem – Friday, November 15: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Pacific Salem Community Health Education Center Need Training in Spanish? Live interpretation is available upon request.
Latine Community Training Incentives Training Stipend: After becoming a QPR Instructor, attendees can receive a $300 stipend for each training offered in Spanish and/or for Latine communities. No-Cost Training: Become a QPR Instructor at no cost – a $600 value!

NCI Continuing Umbrella of Research Experiences (CURE) Academic Career Excellence (ACE) Award (K32) is a grant from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) that funds early postdoctoral fellows from diverse backgrounds, including underrepresented groups, to pursue research training in cancer-related fields.
