Research Grant Programs | IASLC LCFA/IASLC Translational Thoracic Oncology Research Grants Lung Cancer Foundation of America (“LCFA”) and the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (“IASLC”) seek applications for the LCFA/IASLC Translational Thoracic Oncology Research Grants.
LCFA and IASLC are committed to advancing innovative lung cancer research that detects and diagnoses the disease, improves the care of individuals with lung cancers, and reduces the burden of these diseases with a specific focus on developing early-career investigators in the field of thoracic oncology. This grant provides $200,000 USD to support two-year research projects.
IASLC African Impact Grant In an effort to better understand the nature of lung cancer in Africa, with a clear focus on solutions, up to USD $100,000 of funds have been dedicated by the IASLC to support one-year projects, and up to five grants will be awarded (maximum USD $20,000 each).
The goal of these grants is to support an effort to gather data on the epidemiology of lung cancer in Africa and encourage advocacy, public engagement, and policy initiatives. Career Advancement Grant: Bridging the Gap to Independence IASLC Adi F. Gazdar Fellowship Grant Exclusive to fellows, these grants provide $50,000 for a one-year research project.
