Conrad Challenge • Bates Center for Entrepreneurship and Leadership • Lewis & Clark College, Portland, Oregon Interdisciplinary Programs / Entrepreneurial Leadership and Innovation / Conrad Challenge Are you participating in the Conrad Challenge ? Are you ready to ignite your passion for finding solutions to global issues while completing college?
You may not know it, but by participating in the Conrad Challenge , you’re already setting yourself up for success and financial support at Lewis & Clark College.
Conrad Challenge Scholarship The Conrad Foundation and Lewis & Clark College have partnered and are pleased to offer a Lewis & Clark merit-based scholarship of $15,000 per year (total value of $60,000) to all Conrad Innovators who are currently participating or who have participated in a prior Conrad Challenge. This annual merit-based scholarship increases to $22,000 for Conrad Finalists (total value of $88,000).
This amount will be integrated into the merit-based scholarship Lewis & Clark awards to the student at the time of admission to the college. Merit scholarships at the college vary in value and may exceed these amounts.
Additional Scholarship Benefits On top of the scholarship award, Conrad Challenge finalists/scholarship recipients will benefit from a close relationship with Lewis & Clark’s Bates Center for Entrepreneurship and Leadership . A place where you will gain a powerful toolkit and network enabling you to translate your liberal arts education into actions as you prepare for future of work ventures, and adventures.
Join our entrepreneurship students! 33 Lewis & Clark students participated in the annual Winterim program; a fast-paced, immersive week designed to develop entrepreneurial and leadership skills in a supportive and fun environment. Lewis & Clark is a private institution with a public conscience a residential campus with global reach.
We offer 28 majors, 34 minors and robust preprofessional programs. We educate 2,000 + students on our undergraduate campus. and together with the Graduate School of Education and Counseling, and the School of Law - pursue new ways of knowing by combining classic liberal learning with pioneering collaboration.
95 percent of the Lewis & Clark Class of 2019 is already changing the world through employment (80%), continuing studies (13%), and service work (2%) (within six months of graduation). We are located in Portland’s southwest hills. Our park-like campus is nestled among towering trees and trillium-lined creeks.
Our students explore the inspiring beauty of our natural setting, on 137 wooded acres. Lewis & Clark College has been recognized as a top performer in the 2018 Sustainable Campus Index , making L&C the only baccalaureate institution west of the Mississippi to make the top 10.
