LIFE-2026-TA-PP-CLIMA-SIP - EU Funding Call for proposals to provide technical assistance for the preparation of Strategic Integrated Projects (SIPs) within the Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation sub-programme.
With a total budget of EUR 200,000 and individual grants of up to EUR 70,000, this funding is designed to help applicants develop high-quality, large-scale proposals that implement national, regional, or transnational climate strategies.
Eligible applicants include public and private legal entities from participating countries that are preparing to execute major frameworks such as National Energy and Climate Plans (NECPs), national adaptation strategies, or urban plans focused on climate neutrality.
The assistance targets projects that operate on a significant territorial scale and involve all relevant stakeholders through a coordinated funding mechanism that mobilizes at least one additional Union, national, or private funding source.
Funded activities may include recruiting and training personnel for proposal development, contracting external experts, mapping complementary funding sources, and conducting the networking and data collection necessary for a full SIP application.
Ultimately, these technical assistance projects must demonstrate a clear interest to the Union by contributing to the general objectives of the LIFE Programme and ensuring the effective implementation of key EU climate and energy legislation.
