If you are a potential new partner, please submit a Letter of Inquiry to introduce your organization to Light a Single Candle Foundation.
Light a Single Candle Foundation Grant Philosophy Simply put, the mission of LASC is to make a difference in the world . Coming from a perspective of faith in God and with gratitude for the many blessings God has provided, LASC seeks to use the resources we have been given to make the world a better place. Three Geographic Areas Funded: Greater Metropolitan St.
Louis, Missouri Only grant requests within these 3 geographic areas will be considered. Light a Single Candle has both a monthly and quarterly review process, dependent upon the size and scope of the proposal. Prospective grants may be submitted at any time.
However, larger, more complex proposals should follow the quarterly deadline schedule noted below. The submission deadline* dates are: • October 4, 2025 – These proposals will be reviewed in November. • January 17, 2026 – These proposals will be reviewed in March.
• March 28, 2026 – These proposals will be reviewed in May. • June 27, 2026 – These proposals will be reviewed in August. • September 12, 2026 – These proposals will be reviewed in November.
