We are not a treatment program and we do not run homes; we help men in recovery afford the housing and training they need.
Housing scholarships We cover the cost of sober living and transitional housing, so a man in recovery has a safe, stable place to rebuild. Workforce development Scholarships and connections to NC's Employment Independence pathway for adults with disabilities; training that leads to real work. A foundation to stand on Guidance and advocacy as a man moves from early recovery toward a self-sufficient life.

A scholarship for a safe, sober place to live gives a man the base to keep appointments, hold a job, and move forward. Men who served and now need help affording a stable place to land. We prioritize housing-insecure veterans wherever possible, working alongside local veteran and community agencies.
Men navigating disability and, often, substance use disorder; connected to recovery resources and to NC's employment pathway built for independence. Men leaving shelters, hospitals, or incarceration who are working, looking for work, or in training, and ready to commit to a sober living program.

The SCI Youth Grant Pitch Contest is a competitive program from Social Capital Inc. that funds youth-led community improvement projects in Greater Boston.
