The Limb Preservation Foundation supports individuals residing in the Rocky Mountain Region (including Idaho) with limb-threatening conditions due to cancer, trauma, or infection. They provide patient assistance programs which could help with prosthetic costs.

Financial Support Program - Limb Preservation Foundation Financial Assistance Program We provide a lifeline of hope for those facing limb-threatening conditions. Our Financial Support Program offers financial assistance to people in the nine-state Rocky Mountain Region who are in active treatment for limb-threatening extremity trauma, tumor, or infection. This assistance aims to ease the financial burden during challenging times.

Examples of help provided by the Financial Assistance Program : Receive rent or mortgage payments. We will work with you to help pay your utilities bill. Assistance with health insurance payments.

Treatment accommodations available. A person’s eligibility to receive a grant is based on their financial need as well as the medical and personal situation. All applications must be accompanied by a letter or written statement from a medical professional (social worker, case manager, physician, etc.) verifying a person’s diagnosis and financial situation.

Notifications will be sent out before the end of Friday on that review cycle week. When is financial assistance disbursed? Financial assistance will begin to be processed right after approval.
