FY 2025-26 Listos California Tribal Grant (LI) Program - California Grants Portal To support federally-recognized tribes located in California and nonprofits that serve federally-recognized tribal governments to increase disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation capabilities in tribal communities.
Tribal governments and nonprofits can work independently, with other tribal governments, or with local nonprofits to provide disaster preparedness information and resources to tribal communities. To support federally-recognized tribes located in California and nonprofits that serve federally-recognized tribal governments to increase disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation capabilities in tribal communities.
Tribal governments and nonprofits can work independently, with other tribal governments, or with local nonprofits to provide disaster preparedness information and resources to tribal communities. The date (and time, where applicable) by which all applications must be submitted to the grantmaker. Time listed as “00:00” equates to midnight.
Expected award announcement The date on which the grantor expects to announce the recipient(s) of the grant. The length of time during which the grant money must be utilized. Total estimated available funding The total projected dollar amount of the grant.

Advances & Reimbursement(s) There is $500,000 available for the Grant Subaward performance period. Funds are supported through the State General Fund. • Applicants may apply for up to $125,000, for the 19-month Grant Subaward performance period.
• Subrecipients may request a one-time advance of up to 25-percent of their awarded funds. All subsequent payments will be on a reimbursement basis. State agencies/departments recommend you read the full grant guidelines before applying.
