Alabama State Council on the Arts Grant Application Process to Organizations and Schools Artistic Literacy Consortium Center for Traditional Culture Cultural Arts Events Calendar This grant program supports projects and activities that serve to increase public awareness and exposure to literature and the state’s literary heritage and to support contemporary Alabama poets and writers of fiction, creative non-fiction and other literary genres.
Projects and activities may include literary festivals, conferences or other gatherings, publications and community readings involving local writers. Education and outreach projects are priorities.
