Live Entertainment Grants is sponsored by City of Champaign. Eligible expenses include artist/performer fees, booking fees, event coordinating fees, sound technician/engineer fees, sound equipment rental, marketing and advertising costs, temporary staging or seating, and accessibility equipment or services. Qualifying events may receive up to $250 per event in reimbursement, plus a $500 bonus for events that demonstrably attract or serve diverse audiences.
Each business may host eight events per program period and receive up to $7,500 in reimbursement over the year.
