The Community Investment Funds (CIF), Environment Fund, Lamond Fund, and Ross-Roberts Fund for the Arts are grantmaking programs from the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia that support local nonprofits across Northern Virginia. The funds address a broad range of community needs including child and youth development, education, mental health, aging, military families, Latino engagement, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and safety net support. General operating support grants are awarded based on organizational budget size, with priority given to organizations previously funded by CFNOVA between 2016 and 2025. Only organizations with prior grant relationships through the Community Investment Fund or COVID-19 Response Fund cycles were eligible to apply.
