Local Impact Grants (Duke Energy) is sponsored by Duke Energy Foundation. The Duke Energy Foundation accepts grant applications for $20,000 and less throughout the year on a rolling basis. These grants support workforce development, community revitalization, and environmental projects. While general support for K-12 individual schools is not typically funded, initiatives supporting programs that transition communities toward modern energy infrastructure and promote access to opportunity for all families could be relevant. Projects that generate or store electricity, including solar panels, are not funded.
