The Looking Out Foundation amplifies the impact of music by awarding grants, engaging community, and creating powerful partnerships. From neighborhood to nation, we activate our dedicated coalition of fan volunteers and use our platform to uplift humanitarian causes, organizations, and activists leading the fight to create a better world.
The Looking Out Foundation is a nonprofit grantmaking and activist organization founded by Grammy Award-winning artists Brandi Carlile, Phil Hanseroth, and Tim Hanseroth. We band together with fans, peers, and our grantee partners to foster change in ways that are nimble to the ever-changing needs of the human race and adapt to support the diverse demographics we serve in the US and around the world.

Minnestota's communities have continued to set an incredible example for the rest of us, demonstrating the power of uniting to protect our neighbors and defend what is right. Now, more than ever, it is vital that we continue to hold each other and take action to stop the hate that is spreading through our country.
