If you represent a community organization, send an email to HEAF@WildfireAZ. org to receive an application to become a partner. In addition to HEAF, utility companies offer a variety of programs to assist their customers in managing their utility bills.

Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) LIHEAP is a federally funded program operated by the Arizona Department of Economic Security (ADES). This program helps qualified households pay their heating and cooling bills. Households may receive up to $640 per year as a standard LIHEAP benefit and up to $500 in an additional crisis benefit for those experiencing an energy crisis.
If your household income is too high for LIHEAP, you may still qualify for up to a $640 standard Power AZ benefit and up to $500 in an additional crisis benefit if you are experiencing an energy crisis. Arizona households with income up to 100% of the State Median Income (SMI) may qualify for Power AZ. For example, a household with 4 people may qualify if total income is up to $8,998 per month or $107,976 per year.
