We are pleased to announce the MHC Maritime Heritage Education Subgrant Program is now accepting applications. The Massachusetts Historical Commission is among the recipients of 2024 Maritime Heritage Grants awarded by the National Park Service (NPS) to State Historic Preservation Offices.
The NMHG program, made available to local governments, non-profit organizations, and tribal entities, seeks to advance maritime heritage through public education and expand public access to maritime history through multiple educational platforms. The Massachusetts Historical Commission received $250,000 to administer the program. To apply, download and complete the application.
