The Marketing and Digital Connectivity Grant (MDCG) program provides financial assistance for small businesses to build and upgrade their online presence by supporting the design and production of marketing materials and content for digital platforms. The Decatur Development Authority has allocated $25,000 for this program in its 2025-2026 budget.
## Eligible Scopes of Work * Website development and design * Digital advertising campaigns (e.g., Instagram and Facebook ads) Grant awards may range from $250 to $2,500. Awards are remitted as a reimbursement, wired after the successful completion and documentation of the project.
This grant program is a 75/25 matching grant, where the DDA may approve a maximum of 75% of total approved project costs (not to exceed $2,500), and the applicant must cover a minimum 25% of the total approved project costs. The DDA will reimburse the applicant after the program review committee has approved all necessary project expense documents.
Example: An applicant’s marketing project (less taxes and unapproved items) totals $2,000. The applicant hopes to apply for a 75% matching grant of the $2,000 total. If approved, the applicant will receive a $1,500.
00 grant in the form of a one-time reimbursement via wire transfer once all project work is completed and invoices have been paid by the applicant. Projects must begin within six (6) months and completed within 12 months of grant approval. The next application period will open Monday, August 10, 2026 at 8 a.
m. and close on Sunday, August 30, 2026 at 9 p. m.
