** Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered for all ADHA Foundation Community Service Grants. Please refer to specific scholarships for further requirements: * Must be a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA). * Must be a licensed dental hygienist.

**ADHA Foundation Community Service Grant Recipients:**Mars Wrigley grant recipients must complete a mid-year and final report in order to obtain grant funds. Rosie Wall, Golden Smiles and HSTT grant recipients are required to submit and end of year review. The ADHA Foundation team will contact you directly with instructions how to complete these reports.

### Healthy Start for Texas Teeth Community Service Grant This program fosters collaborative efforts between individuals or local components of the Texas Dental Hygienists’ Association and community agencies supporting underserved populations to provide the preventive benefits of fluoride varnish for underserved populations.

Texas residency required and one recipient will be selected annually and will receive $1,000 grant monies used toward the purchase of supplies and other expenses to support the program. ### Rosie Wall Community Spirit Grant This program provides funding for dental hygienists who are involved in a specific community health project in the United States. One recipient will be selected annually and will receive $1,000 in grant funding.

### Golden Smiles Community Service Grant (*new grant opportunity*) This program supports community-driven initiatives aimed at reducing oral health inequities among elderly adults by expanding access to preventive dental hygiene services and improving overall quality of care.

The grant prioritizes programs that focus on: * Staff training for daily oral hygiene protocols * Promoting the connection between nutrition and oral health * Delivering high-quality, preventive care to underserved aging populations Each year, one recipient will be selected to receive $2,500.
