Maryland Defense Cybersecurity Assistance Program (DCAP) is a grant from Maryland Manufacturing Extension Partnership (Maryland MEP) that funds cybersecurity training and assessment costs for qualifying Maryland manufacturers involved in defense supply chains. Cybersecurity Assistance Program - Maryland MEP Cybersecurity has become a critical priority for manufacturing companies , especially those involved in defense-related supply chains. With increasing requirements tied to federal contracts, manufacturers—particularly defense contractors—must meet strict cybersecurity standards to remain eligible for government work.
Maryland MEP supports manufacturers across the state by delivering targeted cybersecurity training to ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity regulations and to mitigate operational risks.
This program provides comprehensive training support for: CMMC / NIST SP 800-171 compliance and documentation Incident Response Planning and Training Employee Cyber Awareness Training IT / OT Cybersecurity Training Maryland MEP has funding available to assist qualifying Maryland manufacturers with the cost of cybersecurity training and assessments, helping to build a safer, more resilient manufacturing sector in the state.
