nsa. gov/Research/Math-Sciences-Program/) Established in 1987, NSA’s Mathematical Sciences Program (MSP) offers grant funding for eligible faculty members to support mathematics in the United States. This mutually beneficial programs helps the U.S. maintain a vigorous academic mathematics community.

gov/Research/Math-Sciences-Program/) ## Conferences, Workshops & Special Situation Proposals The Mathematical Sciences Program supports research for undergraduate programs, conferences and workshops in five subject areas: Algebra, Discrete Mathematics, Number Theory, Probability and Statistics.
The award for conferences and workshops will not exceed $25,000 and, to avoid endorsement or the appearance thereof, approaches to cryptography proposals will not be accepted. The Special Situation category is for infrastructure development projects and for events that do not fall within the typical research conference format.
