Math Educator Organizations Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST) Student Mathematics Competitions Mathematics Education Podcasts Mathematics Grants and Awards Multiple organizations work to honor and support Colorado's many stellar educators. These grants, awards and recognitions occur annually with specific application windows, so refer to each program for more information.
The Colorado Council of Teachers of Mathematics (CCTM) awards both teachers and leaders by CCTM region. For more information, see the CCTM Grants and Awards page . The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) has multiple grant application windows each year.

Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST) PAEMST is the nation's highest honor for teachers of mathematics and science, including computer science. Awardees serve as models for their colleagues, inspiration to their communities, and leaders in the improvement of mathematics and science education. Nomination and application windows are open in the early months of each year.

Presidential Award for Excellence in Science, Mathematics, and Engineering Mentoring PAESMEM honors U.S. citizens or permanent residents and U.S. organizations that have demonstrated excellence in mentoring individuals from groups that are underrepresented in STEM education and workforce.
Individuals and organizations in all public and private sectors are eligible including industry, academia, primary and secondary education, military and government, non-profit organizations, and foundations. Nominations are encouraged from all geographical regions in the U.S., its territories or possessions, particularly jurisdictions designated by Congress under NSF's Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research ( EPSCoR ).
