The Max van Berchem Foundation, whose goal is to promote the study of Islamic and Arabic archaeology, history, geography, art history, epigraphy, religion and literature, awards grants for research carried out in these areas by scholars who have already received their doctorate. When awarding grants, the Foundation prioritizes the period from the beginning of Islam to the Ottoman period.
Candidates must write out their application along the lines defined in **the form** and send it by e-mail by March 31, 2026, with the requested attachments to: ## **Max van Berchem Foundation** E-mail: info@maxvanberchem. org The Scientific Committee will meet in Geneva in June and the Foundation's Board will take its final decision (without appeal) in July.
