These scholarships provide full-time New York City government employees who have earned a bachelor’s degree with the opportunity to pursue graduate study at participating colleges and universities while remaining employed by the city. The application period is now closed. Please check back in September for the new scholarship offerings for the 2027-2028 academic year.

To be eligible for the graduate scholarships, applicants must: Be a full-time New York City government employee Have completed an undergraduate degree by the start of the scholarship year Remain a full-time NYC government employee throughout the course of study Remain a student in good standing Attend classes on their own time There is no minimum length of employment required to apply.
