Scholars Program - McCombs School of Business Be part of our long-standing tradition of awarding scholarships to hard-working students excelling at the college level. Build a Legacy of Support for Future Alumni We are aggressively expanding our scholarship packages for high-potential students so we can continue to be a competitive force in the higher-education landscape.
It’s our mission to make it possible for these students to attend UT regardless of family income. The McCombs Scholars program was created to assist the Texas McCombs BBA office in reaching our strategic recruitment goals.
The scholarship program consists of: Endowed President's Level Scholarship Endowed Dean's Level Scholarship Administered by the Texas Exes Alumni Association, this scholarship provides funding for: Summer enrichment activities (including a service-learning experience) Internships tailored for each individual student These scholarships are awarded to students who possess extraordinary intellectual qualities and the capacity to motivate and lead their peers.
Administered by the McCombs BBA Program Office, this scholarship currently provides full tuition coverage each year for four years. This award has historically been awarded to Canfield Business Honors and Freshman students. This scholarship is typically awarded to the well-deserving, excellent BBA students we seek to recruit at McCombs. We take the following factors into consideration when awarding this scholarship: Four-year graduation rate, and/or McCombs summer camp attendance. Held in conjunction with the spring Dean’s Advisory Council meeting, the event provided an opportunity for student recipients to connect with their scholarship donors over a buffet lunch.
