***Please note we are now accepting grant proposals by invitation only*** McGraw Foundation is a private non-operating foundation whose mission is to provide financial assistance for educational and charitable purposes in furtherance of the public good and promoting the well-being of all humanity.
Established in 1948, and funded by contributions from Max McGraw and several family members and friends, McGraw Foundation has supported a variety of educational and charitable activities for more than 75 years. McGraw Foundation, headquartered in Dundee, Illinois, makes annual grants to not-for-profit organizations.
Max McGraw laid the path for his predecessors to follow, of giving to the many areas of philanthropy that he felt were important. The main areas of focus continue to be education, environment, and human services. The Foundation also makes grants to health, civic, and cultural organizations.
In keeping with the strong interest of Max McGraw in conservation of natural resources and preservation of the environment, the Foundation has also made significant grants to its sister organization, the Max McGraw Wildlife Foundation.
