Gun Trafficking Information – Violent Crime Intelligence Task Force The Violent Crime Intelligence Task Force is a statewide multijurisdictional task force consisting of local law enforcement agencies receiving grant funding from the Illinois State Police beginning September 2022 to: Conduct enforcement operations against persons whose Firearm Owner's Identification Cards have been revoked or suspended and yet have failed to comply with the requirements of Section 9.
5 of the Firearm Owners Identification Card Act; and Enforce provisions of the Firearm Owners Identification Card Act, the Firearm Concealed Carry Act, the Firearm Dealer License Certification Act , and Article 24 of the Criminal Code of 2012. ISP Placed into Compliance FOID holders placed into compliance by year. FOID compliance details by year.
