Member Initiative Program | DuPage Co, IL Member Initiative Program Home Government County Board Member Initiative Program DuPage County is pleased to announce a new Member Initiative Program. This program allows each DuPage County Board District to award funds addressing the needs of our community.
The funding will support initiatives in areas such as job readiness and literacy, education and mentoring, housing and shelter, behavioral health services, substance use disorder treatment, and food assistance. All awards must be for a specific program, capital project, or service benefitting DuPage residents from an eligible entity. Requests will be considered on a rolling basis.
Programs and projects must be completed by Nov. 30, 2025. Eligible entities include: County government and departments Units of local government, including municipalities, townships, park districts, school districts, and library districts For-profit businesses and individuals are not eligible.
Organizations wishing to be considered for funding submit a letter of proposal to the DuPage County Board members representing their community. Program awards begin at $5,000. If an organization serves more than one district, the request may be addressed to multiple Board members.
