Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Use Services Grant Opportunities is sponsored by North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS), Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Use Services (DMHDDSUS). The NCDHHS' Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Use Services provides grants to organizations that support North Carolinians affected by mental health needs, substance use, intellectual/developmental disabilities, or traumatic brain injury.

NC Peer Warmline Now Offers Text and Chat Support The NC Peer Warmline now offers phone, text, and chat support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Connect with a Certified Peer Support Specialist who understands mental health and substance use challenges through lived experience. Open Access/ Walk-In Centers in Your Community Open Access / Walk-In Clinics offer same-day support for mental health or substance use needs. Individuals can walk in during clinic hours, receive an assessment, and be connected to the appropriate level of care.

First Mobile Opioid Treatment Program Launched in North Carolina In August, NCDHHS took an innovative step in efforts to reduce opioid use and related deaths with the launch of the state’s first Mobile Opioid Treatment Program .
