In most cases we prioritize and only complete safety repairs over non-safety issues. Please know before you come We don't finance parts or repairs, and we don't install parts you bring yourself. We don't estimate repair costs until we've seen the car in our own shop.

We can't help get cars out of impound or tow lots. Use the repair estimators in our footer for a rough idea of cost before you come. We only work with these shops We rely on fundraisers for all of our work — there is no guarantee we'll have funds available for your repair at any given time.

No same-day appointments. Schedule at least a day ahead and confirm by 2pm the day before — otherwise you may lose your spot. Expect a diagnosis at your first visit, then a second appointment for repairs — or we may keep your car with us.

Some repairs take 2–3 weeks. We have two mechanics and provide services two days a week — daily check-ins won't speed things up, and we can't serve people who do this or misrepresent their car's issues. While you wait, you'll have full access to our waiting room with A/C, TV, food, and drinks.

We're more of an ER than a family doctor: focused on safety repairs, honest about how much life your parts have left, and we won't recommend unnecessary work. General repair & diagnostics Every visit starts with a thorough inspection. Check engine (OBDII) codes are a great starting point — let us know if you have any.

Belts, hoses & electrical We'll flag preventative maintenance every time you come in, though safety repairs come first. No oil changes unless part of a larger repair. Complete brake services: inspection, repair, and fluid exchange.

We don't do alignments or tires, but we can recommend nearby shops that do. Engine & light transmission Case by case: most engine components including valves and timing, plus light transmission work like solenoids and valve bodies. We generally don't replace engines, transmissions, head gaskets, or turbos.
