The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy’s (EGLE) Water Well Viewer (WWV), is an interactive mapping system that displays water wells along with other information, such as wellhead protection areas, underground storage tanks, and sites of environmental contamination. Water well locations have been identified by address matching, the use of global positioning systems (GPS), and by legal descriptions.
This system allows water well drilling and pump installation contractors to submit water well records.

gov/egle "Home") Since 2019, EGLE has invested $6. 4 billion to upgrade drinking water, stormwater, and wastewater facilities across the state, supporting over 96,000 jobs. That's why the state is expanding the MI Clean Water Plan to encompass additional funding streams flowing to Michigan communities to help them provide clean, affordable drinking water and efficient wastewater and stormwater management.
Since the launch of the MI Clean Water Plan, additional resources have been dedicated through state funding programs and via federal resources including Bipartisan Infrastructure Law water infrastructure funding and state fiscal recovery funds from the American Rescue Plan Act. The expanded plan includes those sources, and flexibility for additional grant and loan opportunities anticipated in the future.

Parkland Acquisitions and Renovations for Communities (PARC) Grant Program is a grant from the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs that funds the acquisition and development of public parkland and outdoor recreational facilities. Eligible applicants include Massachusetts cities of any size and towns with 35,000 or more year-round residents that have an established park or recreation commission and an approved Open Space and Recreation Plan. Northern California Environmental Grassroots Fund is a grant from Rose Foundation for Communities and the Environment that funds small and emerging grassroots organizations in California building climate resilience and advancing environmental justice.
