Micro Grants for Social Change | The Pollination Project Empowering Visionary Changemakers with Seed Funding for Global Transformation. The Pollination Project Foundation empowers passionate volunteers across the globe by providing the critical funding they need to uplift their communities, cultures and countries. Recognizing the untapped potential of frontline changemakers, we bridge the gap in resources with grants up to $500.

These small yet powerful investments have shown us that even modest support can ignite significant impact. Our dedicated team of 75 grant advisors and 5 country coordinators, all experts in their fields, guide our funding decisions to ensure every dollar fuels meaningful change.

Beyond financial support, The Pollination Project Foundation assists grantees in taking their initial steps towards fundraising and offers first belief in their mission. Additionally, we offer capacity-building workshops, mindfulness retreats to prevent burnout, and resource navigation to ensure that our grantees’ work achieves tangible goals.

For farm animal advocates, we are able to offer large initial capital and follow on funding of up to $10,000. At TPP, we believe in people, so we invest in people. Tatiana Nushtaeva – A Bike Repair Stand Along the Pamir Highway A seed grant from The Pollination Project helped Tatiana Nushtaeva open a fully equipped cycle repair station inside a women led hostel in Tajikistan’s Pamir mountains.

The station now gives cyclists on the demanding Pamir Highway a safe place to fix their bikes, while giving local women a new role in the region’s growing tourism economy.

Eric is a Ghanaian development practitioner and social innovator, serving as Lead Advisor for Economic Development with The Pollination Project since 2022.

He is the Founder and Executive Director of the Global Youth Innovation Center (GYIC), a nonprofit using innovation and emerging technologies to drive community transformation and expand opportunities for youth and other vulnerable populations, drawn to TPP`s grantmaking for the passion, heartivism, and volunteerism he sees driving real change in communities worldwide.

When the West Acholi Spinal Injuries Association received a grant from The Pollination Project, the goal was simple: create a space where persons with spinal cord injuries in Northern Uganda could rediscover movement, connection, and joy. Today, more than 250 people have felt that impact.

Over 60 persons with disabilities now play adaptive sports like basketball and boccia on a regular basis, many for the first time since their injuries. But the real transformation goes beyond the court. Participants are gaining confidence.

Building friendships. Reclaiming a sense of belonging in their communities. For women living with physical impairments in particular, the program has opened doors to leadership, teamwork, and renewed purpose.

Managing Director Ben Kilama puts it simply: what started as a small dream has become a movement of hope. And it`s only the beginning. WASIA is now working to expand its programs and push for greater inclusion of persons with disabilities in competitive sports, including the Paralympics.

Thiago Santos, a community educator and environmental advocate from Itacoatiara, Amazonas, Brazil, is growing something far bigger than food.

Through his Agroecological Community Garden and Pollinator Protection Initiative, Thiago is bringing vulnerable families together around shared plots, composting workshops, and pollinator-friendly plants, building a living model of food sovereignty and ecological resilience right in the heart of the Amazon.

His work with APMADE, a local nonprofit rooted in environmental education and social development, has already built the relationships that make this kind of change possible. Now, with a seed grant from The Pollination Project, he is turning that trust into transformation. Families will learn to grow their own organic food, reduce waste, and adopt practices they can replicate at home.

Pollinators will find habitat. And a community will find new tools for self-sufficiency. This is what grassroots philanthropy looks like: one visionary, one community, one garden at a time, rippling outward.

It was on stage that he found his real calling: the youth back home in Mombasa, and how he could help change their lives. That question became Kishoka Youth Organization, a community based group blending art, environmental action, and youth development, with a focus on creative approaches to reducing plastic waste.
