Mikveh Fund is sponsored by One Israel Fund. This fund assists communities in Judea and Samaria with refurbishments, expansion, and construction of new mikvaot (ritual baths) as communities grow.

Community Projects Strengthen Judea & Samaria The Community Fund provides the resources necessary to build up the social infrastructure and moral well-being of communities in Judea and Samaria. By donating to this fund, you are choosing to support community growth by way of Synagogues, Community Centers, Mikvaot, Daycares and Senior Centers, Orchards, Pinot Chamot, Poverty Relief Funding and religious articles for the IDF.

This fund will allow us to allocate even more of these projects. A Pina Chama is a hospitality center for soldiers serving throughout Israel. On any given day, upwards of 500 soldiers could drop in for coffee, cake, snacks or a place to close their eyes.

Each Pina Chama is open from early morning until late at night, manned and stocked completely by local volunteers from the host communities. Music, reading materials and board games create a vibe that serves to comfort the hardworking IDF soldiers. Pinot Chamot are being established regularly.

You can allocate your gift to an existing Pina Chama or one currently under construction. Donations towards this project makes for a great Bar/Bat Mitzvah Project and visits to the Pina Chama, as well as volunteer options are available. Many of the towns throughout Judea and Samaria were built nearly 30 years ago in a dynamic movement with limited resources.

Over the past three decades, the population of these towns has grown tenfold, while the region continues to attract young families. The Mikvaot still in existence are in need of extensive refurbishments and expansion and as the communities continue to grow, new mikvaot are needed. The Mikveh Fund is intended to assist communities in completing mikvaot once they have demonstrated significant initiative and effort on their own.

A new mikveh can cost between $350,000 and $500,000. However, through government and local municipal grants, full dedications are available for a fraction of that cost. A Full mikveh dedication varies based...

Help One Israel Fund alleviate some of the burdens facing our brethren in these areas. SNAC- South Netanya Ashkenaz- Our kehilla has grown from a handful of people to more than 120 member families. Our friends in the Office of the Chief Rabbinate of the IDF are partnering with One Israel Fund to fulfill the enormous demand for religious articles into the field for the soldiers of the IDF.

This includes items such as olive green Dri-Fit Tzitzit (Religious Undergarments), Siddurim/Tehillim (Prayer Books), Taleitot (Prayer Shawls also used for burials), Field Aronot Kodesh (Ark for Sifrei Torah), etc. These are all in high demand – especially the tzitzit, which amazingly, are one of the first requests by all soldiers in time of war.

In 2004, we entered an abandoned and deserted territory and immediately began the task of revitalising the desolation and creating a safe and beautiful paradise garden. We opened our hearts to lost youth in Israel seeking a warm home, direction, love and meaning, and we established a training center for agriculture and Zionism for them in Einot Kedem.

Today, after 20 years of passionate effort, Einot Kedem needs additional partners, more pioneers from near and far, to connect with our common roots. Founded in memory of Raphael Mordechai Grob, One Israel Fund’s Mateh Mordechai Fruit Tree Orchard is blossoming with a variety of fruit trees.

A fitting memorial to Mr. Grob, an ardent zionist who believed in settling the entire land of Israel-especially the Biblical Heartland of Judea and Samaria. The Orchard is located in the town of Eli and is maintained by the students of Talmud Torah Hadar Yosef. Trees can be donated for $36 each or can be purchased in groups of 10 for $300.

There are also other dedication opportunities available through the One Israel Fund office. The Shomron Regional Council serves more than 41,000 residents, including more than 18,000 students. Project Hila, provides a tailored high school experience for teens who have not been successful in a conventional framework.

Project Hila is composed of a comprehensive team, led by Mr. Ami Haziz, Director of the Secondary Education Department in the Council. The project is supervised by professionals from the State Education and Welfare Departments. Beit Shifra, named for the Deputy Mayor’s mother, is a warm, loving home for girls in critical need of a safe place to live.

The Israeli Ministry of Welfare recognizes homes like Beit Shifra as a temporary residence. Temporary residences serve as homes for youth that need a refuge from harmful conditions... If you are interested in donating a Sefer Torah, please call the office directly at 516.

239. 9202 x 10 Completed Community Projects Negohot is located west of Hevron, close to the lachish region and the northern Negev. The community center has a convention hall that serves as the community center for youth and adult activities and celebrations.

The building accommodates 250 people. The standard IDF winter uniform isn't enough to protect soldiers from the elements. Our winter clothing appeal raised funds to purchase coats, thermal undergarments, and other warm clothing which was distributed to these devoted soldiers.

Your generous donations warmed the bodies and hearts of thousands of soldiers who stand every day protecting the borders of Israel. Central Synagogue of Kfar Tapuach Kfar Tapuach is a well-established and rapidly growing religious community in the heart of Israel with over 250 families, diverse in age and culture. The community needed a permanent synagogue.

Even though soldiers are outfitted with canteens, the shluker, a thin lightweight carrier holding three liters of water, is a soldier's best defense against dehydration. With its unique straw-like dispenser that makes taking a sip discreet, safe and quick, the shluker can keep a soldier going for 24 hours or more if necessary. Beginning with the Gaza War in December 2008, over 5,000 shlukers have been distributed.
