The Miller Lite Tap the Future® Business Plan Competition is a grant from MillerCoors that funded minority business owners through an annual business plan competition. Formally known as the MillerCoors Urban Entrepreneur Series and launched in 1999, the program was designed to economically empower minority-owned businesses and encourage entrepreneurship in urban areas in partnership with the Urban League. Applicants competed for grants of up to $50,000 and could potentially become MillerCoors suppliers. Eligible applicants were required to own a business, be at least 21 years of age, be legal U.S. residents, and not have previously received a grant from the program. Note: this program has been discontinued.
